Os resultados s\u00e3o promissores para o desenvolvimento de solu\u00e7\u00f5es biol\u00f3gicas &#8211; a exemplo de inoculantes microbianos &#8211; eficazes para reduzir a ocorr\u00eancia da doen\u00e7a, uma das maiores amea\u00e7as \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de tomate na Amaz\u00f4nia e capaz de afetar tamb\u00e9m outras esp\u00e9cies vegetais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O estudo, coordenado pelo pesquisador da Embrapa Amaz\u00f4nia Ocidental Gilvan Ferreira da Silva, avaliou o potencial de bact\u00e9rias isoladas dos sedimentos dos rios Solim\u00f5es e Negro para combater a murcha bacteriana. Do total de 36 bact\u00e9rias selecionadas, foram identificados tr\u00eas isolados bacterianos, o <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Priestia aryabhattai RN 11, o Streptomyces sp. RN 24 <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">e o <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kitasatospora sp. SOL 195<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, que demonstraram uma not\u00e1vel capacidade de inibir o crescimento da Ralstonia solanacearum em 100%, 87,62% e 100%, respectivamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Quanto \u00e0 ocorr\u00eancia da doen\u00e7a, em ensaios durante as esta\u00e7\u00f5es seca e chuvosa, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">P. aryabhattai<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> RN 11 reduziu a incid\u00eancia da murcha bacteriana em 40% e 90%, respectivamente, ao mesmo tempo em que promoveu o crescimento das plantas infectadas. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Streptomyces sp. RN 24 <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">e <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kitasatospora sp.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> SOL 195 exibiram altas taxas de sobreviv\u00eancia (85 a 90%) e supress\u00e3o do pat\u00f3geno no solo (maior que 90%), demonstrando seu potencial como agentes de biocontrole.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O isolado <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">P. aryabhattai<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">RN 11<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, em particular, destacou-se por sua efic\u00e1cia na supress\u00e3o do fitopat\u00f3geno no solo, reduzindo a incid\u00eancia de murcha bacteriana e promovendo o crescimento das plantas de tomate sob diversas condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas. Al\u00e9m de sua a\u00e7\u00e3o de controle da doen\u00e7a no tomateiro, essas bact\u00e9rias tamb\u00e9m demonstraram a habilidade de produzir enzimas extracelulares e compostos que promovem o crescimento das plantas<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A descoberta de poss\u00edveis novas esp\u00e9cies de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Streptomyces (RN 24) <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">e <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kitasatospora<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (SOL 195) refor\u00e7a a import\u00e2ncia da biodiversidade microbiana da Amaz\u00f4nia como fonte de compostos bioativos e agentes de biocontrole. Esses achados evidenciam, ainda, a necessidade de estudos futuros para explorar o potencial dessas novas esp\u00e9cies, avaliar a efic\u00e1cia dos isolados em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de campo e entender os mecanismos moleculares envolvidos na intera\u00e7\u00e3o planta-microrganismo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A pesquisa foi direcionada no sentido de contribuir para o manejo sustent\u00e1vel da murcha bacteriana em tomates, mas esse potencial de biocontrole da doen\u00e7a pode se estender a outras plantas. \u201cA <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ralstonia solanacearum<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00e9 uma bact\u00e9ria de solo que ataca dezenas de outras esp\u00e9cies vegetais como a batata, o piment\u00e3o, a pimenta, a berinjela, a banana, o amendoim, o feij\u00e3o e a soja\u201d, lembra Ferreira.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Potencial amaz\u00f4nico<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O estudo faz parte de pesquisas coordenadas pelo microbiologista Gilvan Ferreira da Silva, que tem estudado a microbiota da Amaz\u00f4nia com foco no desenvolvimento de solu\u00e7\u00f5es para a agricultura. Os trabalhos realizados por sua equipe de pesquisa t\u00eam como caracter\u00edstica o aspecto multidisciplinar envolvendo diferentes abordagens, al\u00e9m da agr\u00edcola e microbiol\u00f3gica, incluindo a qu\u00edmica de produtos naturais, a gen\u00f4mica e a bioinform\u00e1tica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de microrganismos retirados de sedimentos de rios amaz\u00f4nicos vem sendo feita pela Embrapa Amaz\u00f4nia Ocidental a partir de coletas nos rios Madeira, Purus, Solim\u00f5es, Juru\u00e1 e Negro, realizadas entre 2018 e 2019. Na ocasi\u00e3o, as coletas de sedimentos foram feitas a cada 50 km, no percurso desses rios.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ap\u00f3s an\u00e1lises no Laborat\u00f3rio de Biologia Molecular do centro de pesquisa, foi identificada uma grande diversidade de microrganismos com potencial para o desenvolvimento biotecnol\u00f3gico voltado \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de bioinsumos, ao controle de pat\u00f3genos de interesse agr\u00edcola, \u00e0 promo\u00e7\u00e3o do crescimento de plantas, a aplica\u00e7\u00f5es em atividades industriais, entre outras aplica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Os resultados dessa pesquisa tamb\u00e9m representam um avan\u00e7o cient\u00edfico na pesquisa com microrganismos, destacando o potencial biotecnol\u00f3gico da diversidade microbiana amaz\u00f4nica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ferreira destaca que o resultado obtido com o biocontrole de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ralstonia solanacearum<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00e9 um dos primeiros trabalhos reportando a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola dos microrganismos oriundos dos rios amaz\u00f4nicos.\u00a0 \u201cH\u00e1 outros em andamento, mostrando que microbiota do Bioma Amaz\u00f4nia, principalmente a dos rios, pode ter uma aplica\u00e7\u00e3o importante na agricultura, tanto na parte de controle de pat\u00f3genos quanto na prospec\u00e7\u00e3o de novas mol\u00e9culas. Ent\u00e3o \u00e9 um material muito rico que est\u00e1 sendo desdobrado em diversos trabalhos\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O pesquisador costuma usar o termo \u201cminera\u00e7\u00e3o gen\u00f4mica\u201d, se referindo aos\u00a0\u00a0 microrganismos como \u201cmin\u00e9rios\u201d ou \u201ctesouros\u201d. E afirma que sua prospec\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser mais rent\u00e1vel economicamente do que a de min\u00e9rios tradicionais.
