O estudo, liderado pela pesquisadora\u00a0<\/span><span>Lucieta Martorano<\/span><span>\u00a0, da\u00a0<\/span><span>Embrapa Amaz\u00f4nia Oriental<\/span><span>\u00a0(PA), utilizou uma metodologia de sua autoria, o zoneamento topoclim\u00e1tico, que permite mapear \u00e1reas e indicar as esp\u00e9cies nativas mais adequadas para a silvicultura e restaura\u00e7\u00e3o florestal na regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica. A publica\u00e7\u00e3o na Florestas foca em 12 esp\u00e9cies nativas de alto valor ecol\u00f3gico e econ\u00f4mico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Realizado por pesquisadores da Embrapa, da Universidade Federal do Cear\u00e1 (\u00a0<\/span><span>UFC<\/span><span>\u00a0) e de outras institui\u00e7\u00f5es, o trabalho revela que a silvicultura com esp\u00e9cies nativas influencia positivamente no combate \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, al\u00e9m de promover a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de renda, recuperar a biodiversidade e fortalecer a resili\u00eancia das \u00e1reas frente a desastres naturais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>As descobertas enfatizam a import\u00e2ncia do zoneamento topoclim\u00e1tico como uma ferramenta para estrat\u00e9gias de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o e uso sustent\u00e1vel. A partir disso, os pesquisadores realizaram mapas que mostram o grau de adequa\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental (alto, m\u00e9dio ou baixo) de diferentes \u00e1reas da Amaz\u00f4nia para o plantio e manejo de cada esp\u00e9cie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>A an\u00e1lise estat\u00edstica, n\u00e3o hier\u00e1rquica, gerou modelos e mapas que indicam \u00e1reas com alto, m\u00e9dio e baixo potencial topoclim\u00e1tico para o plantio e manejo de cada esp\u00e9cie. &#8220;\u00c9 uma metodologia de planejamento com enorme potencial para embasar pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas externas \u00e0 restaura\u00e7\u00e3o florestal, bioeconomia e adapta\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica. \u00c9 ci\u00eancia aplicada ao territ\u00f3rio&#8221;, declara Martorano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Entre os resultados, o estudo demonstra que esp\u00e9cies como o angelim-vermelho (\u00a0<\/span><em><span>Dinizia excelsa<\/span><\/em><span>\u00a0) obtiveram at\u00e9 81% de alta topoclim\u00e1tica em \u00e1reas antropizadas (degradadas ou alteradas pelo homem), revelando um vasto potencial para restaura\u00e7\u00e3o produtiva. A metodologia foca em esp\u00e9cies florestais e, somada a outros zoneamentos, tem a capacidade de melhorar a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade e fortalecer a bioeconomia amaz\u00f4nica, garantindo resili\u00eancia ecol\u00f3gica e desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>O estudo tamb\u00e9m abre portas para programas de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1reas nativas e o mercado de cr\u00e9dito de carbono. Os dados trazidos pelo artigo fortalecem a imagem da Amaz\u00f4nia n\u00e3o apenas como bioma amea\u00e7ado, mas como fonte de solu\u00e7\u00f5es concretas, baseadas na natureza e na intelig\u00eancia territorial. O modelo de zoneamento topogr\u00e1fico clim\u00e1tico poder\u00e1 ser usado para direcionar recursos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o, orientar projetos financiados por fundos verdes e contribuir com as metas de neutralidade de carbono, conforme acordos globais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span>Segundo os autores, o modelo de zoneamento pode ser ampliado para outras regi\u00f5es e escalado com tecnologias como sensoriamento remoto e intelig\u00eancia artificial.
