No caso da mancha de phoma, os probi\u00f3ticos Colostrum BIO 21 MIX e Colostrum BS reduziram a severidade em at\u00e9 79%, enquanto para a mancha aureolada, a redu\u00e7\u00e3o chegou a 56%.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Ferrugem imp\u00f5e perdas de at\u00e9 50%<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>O caf\u00e9, uma das culturas de maior import\u00e2ncia nacional, \u00e9 suscet\u00edvel ao ataque de doen\u00e7as que afetam diretamente a sua produtividade. Altos \u00edndices de severidade da ferrugem, principal doen\u00e7a da cultura, podem resultar em perdas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o que variam de 35% a 50%, afirma a pesquisadora\u00a0do Instituto Biol\u00f3gico Flavia Patr\u00edcio, que tamb\u00e9m participou da pesquisa.<\/p>\n<p>Ela conta que o uso de cons\u00f3rcios microbianos, como o presente no BIO 21 MIX, mostra-se promissor, pois combina microrganismos que atuam de forma sin\u00e9rgica. A sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o preventiva pode oferecer uma alternativa sustent\u00e1vel ao uso de agrot\u00f3xicos, contribuindo para a sanidade e a produtividade das planta\u00e7\u00f5es de caf\u00e9, uma vez que n\u00e3o existe produto biol\u00f3gico recomendado para o controle da mancha de phoma at\u00e9 o momento, de acordo com o Agrofit, 2023. Ap\u00f3s serem administrados, os probi\u00f3ticos competem e impedem a ades\u00e3o dos pat\u00f3genos, produzem compostos antimicrobianos e estimulam a prolifera\u00e7\u00e3o da microflora ben\u00e9fica, al\u00e9m de tamb\u00e9m atuarem modulando o sistema imunol\u00f3gico do hospedeiro, no caso, o cafeeiro.<\/p>\n<p>A utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o desses cons\u00f3rcios pode melhorar a sa\u00fade e a vitalidade das mudas de caf\u00e9 desde as fases iniciais do cultivo, preparando-as para um crescimento mais vigoroso e sustent\u00e1vel quando transplantadas para o campo, estrat\u00e9gia que pode contribuir para o aumento da produtividade e da qualidade da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVale ressaltar tamb\u00e9m que as bact\u00e9rias do \u00e1cido l\u00e1tico presentes nos probi\u00f3ticos s\u00e3o reconhecidas como seguras conforme estabelecido pela Administra\u00e7\u00e3o Federal de Alimentos e Medicamentos dos Estados Unidos (FDA), e pela Autoridade Europeia para a Seguran\u00e7a Alimentar (EFSA), portanto, podem ter maior agilidade para serem registrados para o segmento agr\u00edcola, ao serem comparados com produtos formulados com outras esp\u00e9cies ainda n\u00e3o estudadas&#8221;, explica Freitas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Os probi\u00f3ticos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Probi\u00f3ticos s\u00e3o considerados ingredientes alimentares microbianos vivos que, quando consumidos em quantidades adequadas, conferem benef\u00edcios \u00e0 sa\u00fade dos consumidores. Esses conceitos s\u00e3o compartilhados por v\u00e1rias organiza\u00e7\u00f5es, incluindo a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para a Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a Agricultura (FAO), a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS), o Instituto Internacional de Ci\u00eancias da Vida (ILSI) e a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Europeia de Alimentos e Culturas para Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o Animal (EFFCA).<\/p>\n<p>Para que sejam seguros e eficazes, probi\u00f3ticos devem atender a requisitos espec\u00edficos estabelecidos pela FAO\/OMS, como a sua identifica\u00e7\u00e3o em n\u00edvel de esp\u00e9cie e a comprova\u00e7\u00e3o de sua capacidade de sobreviver nas condi\u00e7\u00f5es do ambiente, incluindo a toler\u00e2ncia ao \u00e1cido g\u00e1strico, \u00e0 bile e \u00e0s enzimas digestivas, bem como a resist\u00eancia \u00e0s bact\u00e9rias que s\u00e3o patog\u00eanicas aos humanos e animais.<\/p>\n<p>Os probi\u00f3ticos podem ser administrados de v\u00e1rias formas, incluindo formula\u00e7\u00f5es encapsuladas, comprimidos, l\u00edquidos ou p\u00f3s, e podem conter um ou mais microrganismos. Uma vez administrados, competem com os pat\u00f3genos, impedindo sua ades\u00e3o no trato gastrointestinal, produzindo compostos antimicrobianos, reduzindo o pH intestinal, promovendo a prolifera\u00e7\u00e3o de microflora ben\u00e9fica e modulando o sistema imunol\u00f3gico do hospedeiro.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de seu uso na sa\u00fade humana, os probi\u00f3ticos t\u00eam sido amplamente empregados na produ\u00e7\u00e3o e sa\u00fade animal, como na avicultura, onde ajudam a reduzir contamina\u00e7\u00f5es por\u00a0<em>Salmonella\u00a0<\/em>spp., um grande desafio sanit\u00e1rio em aves de corte.
